Opening types

Tilt and Turn

Tilt (Tilt Inward) – The top part of the window opens a little inward, while the bottom stays closed. Perfect for air circulation without fully opening the window.

Turn (Swing)

Windows that swing open outward are labeled with ‘outward’ or ‘casement window. In areas with strong winds or heavy rain, outward-opening windows like casement windows can provide better sealing against weather.

Tilt

A popular style for small windows that opens inward. In high-rise buildings, inward-opening windows allow easier cleaning and maintenance from the inside.

FIX

The glass panel is securely fixed in the outer frame.

FIX and sash

The glazing unit is installed into a non-opening window sash.

Pivot

The window sash pivots around a vertical or horizontal axis.

Tilt and Slide

The active panel can lean inward and slide sideways.

Parallel Slide

The active panel slides to the side.

Lift and Slide

The active panel can lift and slide. The system provides a very tight seal when the door is locked.
